ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the effects of nutritional support on chemotherapeutic efficacy and safety in patients with acute myeloid leukemia. Methods:A total of 130 patients with acute myeloid leukemia who received treatment in Lishui Municipal Central Hospital from January 2021 to December 2021 were included in this study. They were divided into a control group and an observation group ( n = 65/group) according to different nutritional support methods. Patients in the control group were given routine intervention, while patients in the observation group were given nutritional support based on routine intervention. These two interventions were administered till 1 month after chemotherapy. Chemotherapeutic efficacy and safety were compared between the two groups. Results:Total response rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group [92.3% (60/65) vs. 78.5% (51/65), Z = 4.91, P < 0.05]. After chemotherapy, waist-to-hip ratio, arm girth, and body mass index in the observation group were (0.9 ± 0.1), (25.7 ± 1.2) cm, (21.9 ± 2.1) kg/m 2, respectively, which were significantly greater than (0.8 ± 0.1), (24.4 ± 1.1) cm, (20.6 ± 2.1) kg/m 2 in the control group, respectively ( t = 4.13, 6.63, 3.64, all P < 0.05). Transferrin, albumin, prealbumin, and total serum protein in the observation group were (1.4 ± 0.3) g/L, (27.5 ± 3.1) g/L, (171.3 ± 11.3) mg/L, and (61.2 ± 4.3) g/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than (1.3 ± 0.3) g/L, (25.2 ± 2.9) g/L, (154.3 ± 10.3) mg/L, (56.6 ± 4.0) g/L respectively in the control group ( t = 2.24, 4.48, 8.93, 6.31, all P < 0.05). The scores of emotional state, social status, role cognition, and somatic perception in the observation group were (57.5 ± 4.6) points, (64.5 ± 3.8) points, (56.5 ± 4.1) points, (62.0 ± 4.2) points, which were significantly higher than (47.9 ± 4.2) points, (56.4 ± 3.2) points, (47.7 ± 4.5) points, (55.5 ± 5.4) points in the control group ( t = 12.34, 13.04, 11.55, 7.65, all P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 9.2% (6/65), which was significantly lower than 24.6% (16/65) in the control group ( χ2 = 4.43, P < 0.05). Conclusion:Nutritional support can substantially improve chemotherapeutic efficacy in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia, decrease the incidence of adverse reactions, and is safe. Therefore, nutritional support for patients with acute myeloid leukemia deserves clinical promotion.

ABSTRACT

Background: Chronic alcohol ingestion is one of the major causes of liver disease. Uncontrolled glucose concentration in chronic alcoholic liver disease will have poor prognosis. Hence, the study is undertaken to see markers of chronic glucose control, that is, serum fructosamine and glycated hemoglobin and their usefulness to show the severity of chronic alcoholic liver disease. Aim and Objectives: The study is conducted to check that between glycated hemoglobin and fructosamine which is better to check glycemic control and severity/prognosis of chronic alcoholic liver disease. Materials and Methods: 60 cases of chronic alcoholic liver disease patients of age group 20–70 years of both sexes with 30 age- and sex-matched healthy controls were taken. Cases were divided into non-complicated and complicated groups. Glycated hemoglobin was estimated by immunoturbidimetry method, serum fructosamine level was estimated by colorimetry using nitro blue tetrazolium, SGOT was estimated by method by IFCC and serum total protein was estimated by biuret method. Results: The mean concentration of HbA1c and serum total protein was decreased in both groups of cases compared to controls. The mean concentrations of serum fructosamine and SGOT were increased in both groups of cases. There was no significant difference in the mean value of serum total protein in non-complicated cases with controls. There was no significant difference in the mean value of HbA1c between non-complicated and complicated cases. SGOT was considered for correlation, it was found out that it had significant negative correlation with serum total protein, significant positive correlation with serum fructosamine, and no correlation with HbA1c. Significant negative correlation was found between serum total protein and serum fructosamine. Conclusion: This study shows that serum fructosamine is a better marker to monitor chronic glucose control and severity of chronic alcoholic liver disease compared to HbA1c.

ABSTRACT

【Objective】 To explore the difference of total protein (TP) content, coagulation factor VIII (FⅧ) activity and Fib content in different common plasma products, and to further provide basis for the establishment and refinement of relevant quality standards of common plasma products. 【Methods】 Samples involved in the experiment included frozen plasma and cryoprecipitated frozen plasma derived from whole blood and eukocyte-depleted whole blood. The TP content determination was carried out by biuret method. The FⅧ activity (FⅧ: C) and Fib content were determined by coagulation method. 【Results】 The TP content( g/L) in frozen plasma and cryoprecipitated frozen plasma derived from whole blood and eukocyte-depleted whole blood were 59.64±4.78 vs 58.09±4.1 vs 52.20±3.57 vs 51.89±1.50, respectively, and the FⅧ: C( %) were 109.63±43.38 vs 27.06±7.09 vs 71.83±21.64 vs 21.66±3.86,, and the Fib content (g/L) were 2.19±0.39 vs 1.30±0.24 vs 2.04±0.37 vs1.22±0.15, respectively. There was a significant difference in TP content between other common plasma products (P0.05). There was significant difference in FⅧ: C among four common plasma products (P0.05). 【Conclusion】 The TP content and FⅧ: C of common plasma products are closely related to the initial blood and preparation process. It is suggested that the quality standard of common plasma products should be further refined, and the establishment of cryoprecipitated frozen plasma relevant quality standard and clinical indications should be considered.

ABSTRACT

Background: The circulating concentration of transport protein, traditionally albumin, has been used to define protein deficiency. However, few studies have been conducted to see if there is any correlation between serum total protein and albumin levels in children with PEM. Hence the study was planned to estimate serum total protein, serum albumin levels in children with PEM and healthy controls. Methods: All the children were divided in two groups. Case Group A consist of 250 children with protein energy malnutrition and control Group B consist of healthy 250 children. Venous blood of amount 3 ml was collected with full aseptic precautions. The blood was collected in the EDTA vacutainer and test tube. Serum total protein was estimated by Biuret method, serum albumin was estimated by Bromocresol green dye method (BCG dye). Results: When the mean serum levels of albumin levels and the total protein levels were measured in the controls as well as case groups, there was decrease in levels in case group as compared to control group. This difference of decrease when evaluated statistically it was found to be statistically significant. When the albumin/globulin ratio was calculated in both the groups, it was found to be statistically lower in case group as compared to control group. PEM children have low serum total protein and albumin levels as compared to healthy controls (p<0.001), this is probably due to decreased intake of proteins and reduced biosynthesis. PEM children have lower hemoglobin levels as compared to healthy controls; this is probably due to deficiency of iron and other micronutrients, which is often found in a child with malnutrition. Conclusions: Early diagnosis and prompt management of PEM and its complications can prevent development of permanent physical and mental retardation.

ABSTRACT

@#Studies on the potential effect of EMF exposure on permeability of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in humans are virtually absent. This study was conducted to study the effect of EMF exposure on pericytes in brain tissues and its effect on oxidative stress level in the blood through total protein and malondialdehyde (MDA). About 16 male rats (Wistar) were used and divided into two groups which were negative control and treatment group. In negative control group, the animals were placed in a solenoid without any EMF exposure for 3 hours daily for 5 days. In the treatment group, the animals were placed in a solenoid with 0.3 mT EMF exposure for the same time duration. On day 3 and day 5, animals were sacrificed and the brain was removed for histological examination while on day 1, day 3 and day 5, the blood was collected for biochemistry analysis. Histological observation showed the presence of morphological changes in the brain tissues of rats that exposed to EMF. Statistical analysis showed that there is no significant decrease in total protein (p>0.05) between negative control group and treatment group. Meanwhile, MDA level in blood showed a significant increase in treatment group (p<0.05) as compared to the negative control group. The result obtained in this study, suggest that the exposure to EMF can cause changes to the morphology of pericytes in brain tissues, and can increase the MDA level in blood of rats.

ABSTRACT

Background: The traditional method of classification of ascites by AFTP offers little insight into the pathophysiology of ascites formation and it has many drawbacks. In order to overcome it, the classification of ascites based on SAAG has emerged. Even SAAG has some draw backs like non correlation with ascites due to non-alcoholic cirrhosis and difficulty in identifying the ascites due to mixed etiology. This study is conducted to compare the diagnostic accuracies of SAAG and AFTP in identifying the pathophysiology of ascites. Methods: A total of fifty patients who were admitted with ascites were included in the study. Ascitic fluid total protein and SAAG were calculated. They were classified on the basis of SAAG into High SAAG and Low SAAG and on the basis of AFTP into Transudate and Exudate. After the etiology of ascites evaluated by various diagnostic procedures, the sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic accuracy of SAAG and AFTP in identifying the pathophysiology of ascites calculated sepereately. The diagnostic accuracies of SAAG and AFTP were compared statistically. Results: The sensitivity of SAAG was found to be 86.84% and that of AFTP 60%. The specificity of SAAG was found to be 83.33% and that of AFTP was found to be 60%. The diagnostic accuracy of SAAG was found to be 86% and that of AFTP was found to be 60%. The diagnostic accuracy of SAAG and AFTP for individual etiologies of ascites were found and compared. SAAG was found to be superior to AFTP with a P value of <0.01 which was statistically significant. Conclusions: The sensitivity and specificity of SAAG was superior to AFTP in identifying the etiology of ascites.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To optimize the integrated processing technology for “precise decoction pieces” of Helianthus annuus. METHODS: The contents of total flavonoids and total protein in H. annuus were determined by UV spectrophotometry with rutin and bovine serum albumin as control. Refering to Chinese Pharmacopoeia, the contents of water soluble extract, dilute ethanol extracts and ethyl acetate extract were determined. Based on the different needs such as maintaining quality consistency with the original medicinal materials, preference for anti-gout treatment, preference for liver calming and pain relief, using the contents of total flavonoids, total protein and 3 kinds of polar extract as indexes, gray correlation method was used to optimize the integrated processing technology of 3 kinds of “precise decoction pieces” of H. annuus. RESULTS: Gray correlation analysis showed that the ideal sample sequence of decoction pieces in massive shape dried at 60 ℃ with the original medicinal materials and decoction pieces with preference use of liver calming and pain relief was the most relevant; the ideal sample sequence of ideal sample sequence of decoction pieces in massive shape dried in the shade with decoction pieces with clinical application preference of anti-gout therapy was the most relevant. CONCLUSIONS: Different integrated processing technology for “precise decoction pieces” of H. annuus can be adopted for different needs. If it is necessary to keep the quality consistent with the original medicinal materials or to prepare H. annuus decoction pieces for liver calming and pain relieving, medicinal material can be cut into massive shape and dried at 60 ℃; if it is necessary to prepare H. annuus decoction pieces for anti-gout treatment, cutting into massive shape and drying in the shade can be adopted.

ABSTRACT

Aims: Diabetes mellitus is a growing problem worldwide entailing enormous financial burden and medicinal policy issues. It is presently considered among the top ten leading causes of death globally resulting in a raised level of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) (the most sensitive marker of liver cell damage). This study was therefore aimed at evaluating the effect of ethanol-methanol extracts of leaf, stem bark and the root of Jatropha curcas on serum aminotransferases (aspartate amino transferase (AST)and ALT) and total protein (TP) of streptozotocin -induced diabetic rats.Methodology:Fifty-four (54) male Wistar rats weighing 150-200 g were assigned according to body weight into nine (9) groups of six (6) rats each. Group I was the normal control and given water and rat chow only, groups II, III, IV, V and VI were induced with diabetes using streptozotocin. Group II served as the diabetic control and was therefore, left untreated, while groups III, IV and V were treated with leaf, stem bark, root extracts of Jatropha curcas, respectively and group VI was given astandard drug (Glibenclamide). The remaining groups VII, VIII and IX were not inducedwith diabetes but were given normal leaf, stem bark and root extracts, respectively. The animals were sacrificed after 14 days and blood was collected for the study. Results:The result obtained showed a significant (p<0.05) decrease in serum AST of groups III, IV, VII, VIII and IX compared with the diabetic control (DC). The serum ALT showed a significant (p<0.05) increase in group II (DC) compared with the normal control, while groups VII, VIII and IX were significantly (p<0.05) decreased compared with the normal control. All the test groups showed a significant (p<0.05) decrease in serum ALT compared with the diabetic control. There was no significant (p?0.05) difference in serum TP of all the test groups compared with the normal control, however, there was significant (p<0.05) increase in the TP of diabetic control. Conclusion:This study revealed that Jatropha curcasplant extracts might confer protection against diabetic-induced hepatocellular damage as evidenced by normalisation of serum levels of total protein and ALT of treated diabetic groups. The Jatropha curcasleaf extract appeared to have exhibited a better protection against hepatocellular diabetic-induced damage than the stem bark and root

ABSTRACT

Background: It is not economically feasible to estimate the serum and ascitic albumin level for calculating Serum Ascites Albumin Gradient (SAAG) in every suspected tubercular ascites patient. Ascites fluid total protein (AFTP) seems a cheaper and viable alternative. Authors attempted to compare the efficacy of Amniotic Fluid Total Protein (AFTP) against Serum Ascites Albumin Gradient (SAAG) in the diagnosis of Tubercular Ascites. Methods: Patients who were admitted to Medicine Wards, with the complaints of distension of abdomen, proved by ultrasound to have ascites, were included in the study. Total 102 Patients of ascites were included. The incidence of Tuberculous ascites was observed and special features regarding their clinical presentation, ascitic fluid values and imaging studies were noted. Results: Tubercular ascites was seen in 18 (17.6%) patients out of the 102 subjects studied. In the group of patients having raised ascitic fluid ADA, authors found that the number of patients having raised AFTP (16 cases, 88.88%) was significantly more than the patients having lower SAAG (13 cases, 71.22%) (p=0.007).Conclusions: In the setting where calculating SAAG may prove to be quite expensive, AFTP is a reasonable predictor of Tubercular infection in ascitic fluid.

ABSTRACT

It is said that one should consume Shad-Rasayuktha Ahara for better nourishment. The nutritive value of the 6 Rasas (taste) has been explained in the classics of Ayurveda along with their harmful effects when used in excess. When Amla Rasa is taken in excess it produces Dantaharsha (Morbid sensation of teeth), Trishna (thirst) etc. Objectives - The present study is designed by administering Amla Rasa Pradhana Drvya given in different concentration 10% and 15% and effect on the Mamsa Dhatu is assessed by certain blood parameters. Material and Methods -Wistar strain albino rats of either sex, weighing of 200-300 g. Obtained from S.D.M Centre for Research in Ayurveda, Udupi, Karnataka. 5Groups were taken and Group 1 is Control, Group-2 is 15% Chincha, Group-3 is 15% Vrukshamla, Group-4 is 10% Chincha, Group-5 is 10% Vrukshamla which receives drug and laboratory food for 28days, next day blood was collected by supra-orbital puncture with the help of micro capillary tubes under mild ether anesthesia. Results - There was increase in the Total Protein, Serum Albumin and serum creatinine levels and decrease in Serum globulin, Serum Urea level and Body weight. Conclusion – the study suggests that there is catabolic action of the Amla Rasa on the Mamsa Dhatu and anabolic act action on serum protein especially at the level of liver, so there will be a loss of muscle tissue which suggests Mamsa Vidhahyati action.

ABSTRACT

The objective this study is to evaluate colloid osmotic pressure (COP) fluctuations in adult and senile dogs during surgical interventions. Thirty-six healthy dogs to surgical interventions, distributed in two groups, A and B, according to their age, and were all subjected to the same anesthetic protocol. Values of albumin, total plasmatic protein and COP were evaluated from samples collected before pre-anesthetic medication, fifteen minutes after pre-anesthetic medication, and shortly after the end of the intervention. Results were tested using t-test to compare among groups and ANOVA for repeated measures followed by Tukey's test to compare different moments within the same group. Statistical significance was set at p<0.05. In both groups, significant decreases were observed in colloid osmotic pressure, as well as albumin and total proteins (p<0.001). Despite slightly lower COP values for the group of adult animals, this difference was not significant as there was a high individual variation within groups. The results therefore indicate no difference in colloid osmotic pressure values or fluctuation patterns among adult and senile dogs (p=0.124). The observed results indicate that colloid osmotic pressure decreases significantly during surgical procedures, due to hypotension caused by the anesthetic drugs and to hemodilution caused by the fluid administration but there is no difference between groups. However, in both adult and senile dogs, these variables recover gradually after the animals awaken, through increased urine production and recovery of vascular tonus, indicating the successful reestablishment of homeostasis.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Minimal Change Nephrotic Syndrome is the most common type of nephrotic syndrome accounting for 85% of cases. It is the most common primary or idiopathic type of nephrotic syndrome in children. It occurs between 1 to 12 years of age, but most commonly 2 to 6 years. Even though the majority of cases show remission of nephrotic syndrome, the hypocalcemia due to Glucocorticoids are very severe. It reduces the bone mineralization and reducing the bone mineral content and thereby reducing bone density. Aim of the study: To assess the reduction in bone mineral density among children who have completed the first course of steroid therapy for nephrotic syndrome by measuring biochemical markers of bone. Materials and methods: This study was done to find out the reduction in the Bone mineral density among children who completed steroid therapy for nephrotic syndrome, by using bone biochemical markers. This study also helped to assess the side- effect of Glucocorticoids on bone density and to prevent bone demineralization and pathological fractures in children. Results: The results showed there was a reduction in the serum calcium values among children with MCNS. This implied hypocalcemia among children due to GCs and the P value is significant <0.001. This represented the corrected calcium levels among the children after drug effect. It implied the D. Sampath Kumar, S. Prasanna, P. Sakthi Seethalakshmi. To assess the reduction in bone mineral density among children who completed steroid therapy for nephrotic syndrome. IAIM, 2018; 5(2): 94-104. Page 95 overall the corrected calcium levels at low levels with MEAN=8.34 mg%. The P value was <0.024 Significant. The total proteins were normal among children after completing the glucocorticoid therapy. The P value was <0.001 and was significant. Mean = 5.68. Standard Deviation (SD) = 0.28. The serum phosphorus was almost normal among remission MCNS Children and at higher levels among defaulters, SDNS and SRNS. Conclusion: Glucocorticoids is the drug of choice and standard therapy for Minimal Change Nephrotic Syndrome (MCNS), but the drug-induced hypocalcemia and hypovitaminosis D are assessed by our study. Added to the above, the disease itself characterized by hypocalcemia and hypovitaminosis D. So, all children should undergo this assessment to prevent growth failure and pathological fractures. Nutritional supplements are recommended for the quality of life among children.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effects of salvianolate on blood biochemical indexes, pathological changes of renal tissue and expression of CD2AP and Desmin protein in membranous nephropathy rats induced by cationic bovine serum albumin. And to explore the renal protective effect of salvianolate on membranous nephropathy rats and its possible mechanism. Methods Healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into normal group and modle group. Rat models of membranous nephropathy were reproduced by injection of cationized bovine serum albumin through tail vein. Model successful rats were randomly divided into model group, benazepril group, and salvianolate groups (16.7, 33.3, and 66.7 mg/kg). Each group was given the dose of the corresponding drugs. After treatment, the level of 24 h urine total protein (UTP), serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), urea nitrogen (BUN), and serum creatinine (Scr) were detected. Immunofluorescence, light microscope, and electron microscope were used to observe the pathological changes of rat kidney. Immunohistochemistry and real-time PCR were used to detect the expression of CD2AP and Desmin. Results Compared with the control group, levels of UTP, TC, and TG increased significantly (P < 0.01), levels of serum TP and ALB decreased significantly (P < 0.01) in the model group. Compared with the model group, the UTP, TC, and TG of each treatment group were significantly decreased (P < 0.05, 0.01), while the TP and ALB were significantly increased (P < 0.01). There was no significant difference in the UTP, TC, TG, TP, and ALB among each dosage of salvianolate and benazepril group. And there was no significant difference among each dose group of salvianolate. There was no significant difference among each groups in the level of BUN and Scr. Compared with the normal group, the expression of CD2AP in model group was significantly decreased and Desmin was significantly increased (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group, the expression of CD2AP increased and Desmin decreased in each treatment group (P < 0.01), but there was no difference among the treatment groups. Conclusion Salvianolate has kidney protective effect on membranous nephropathy rats. The mechanism may be related to up-regulating the expression of CD2AP, down-regulating the expression of Desmin, inhibiting podocyte injury and protecting the integrity of the glomerular filtration barrier.

Objective:To detect the levels of serum insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1),insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3 )and the plasma proteins of the patients with diabetic foot (DF),and to investigate the therapeutic effect of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH)in the DF patients. Methods:The DF patients (DF group,n=40),diabetes mellitus patients (DM group,n=40)and healthy adults (normal control group,n=40)were selected. The patients in DF group were divided into rhGH treatment group and conventional treatment group according to the treatment willingness (n= 20).The patients in rhGH treatment group recevied 0.4 IU·kg-1 ·d-1 rhGH injection subcutaneously for 15 d,the interval between two courses was 5 d,with a total of 3 courses of treatment. The patients in convention treatment group received subcutaneous injection of the same dose of saline. The general clinical data before and after treatment, the serum IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 levels, the constitution of disease grading of patients, the levels of plasma TP and TRF,FBG,and the efficiency rate and wound healing time of the subjects in DF group and normal control group were detected. Results:The levels of serum IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 of the patients in DF group were significantly lower than those in DM group and normal control group (P <0.01);the serum levels of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 of the patients in DM group were significantly lower than those in normal control group (P <0.05).After treatment, the serum levels of IGF-1,IGFBP-3 and plasma TP,TRF of the patients in rhGH treatment group were significantly increased compared with before treatment (P <0.05),and they were higher than those in conventional treatment group after treatment (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the FBG levels of the subjects between DM group and normal control group (P > 0.05 ).The effective rate of the patients in rhGH treatment group was higher than that in conventional treatment group (P <0.05).Conclusion:The efficiency of DF patients can be improved after treated with rhGH, and it is suitable for clinical promotion.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of stem cells transplantation on immune function, liver function and related indexes in the patients with end-stage liver disease(ESLD).Methods A total of 163 cases of ESLD in Nanyang Municipal Central Hospital of Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected and divided into 2 groups by the randomized single blind method.Eighty-one cases in the control group were given the conventional symptomatic treatment, while 82 cases in the observation group received bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell(BMSC) transplantation based on the control group. The changes of immune function, liver function, alpha fetoprotein(AFP),rate of prothrombin activity(PTA) and plasma total protein(TP) level before and after treatment were observed in the two groups. Results The immune function indexes CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+,TP and PTA levels after treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those before treatment and in the control group (P<0.05),while the levels of AFP,alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and total bilirubin (TBIL)were lower than those before treatment in the same group and the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in complication occurrence rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion BMSC transplantation for treating ESLD can improve the immune function, improves the liver function and reduces the AFP level.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To prepare the first batch of Chinese national standard for human albumin used for the test of batch release or other quality control of human albumin products. METHODS: The first batch of national standard for human albumin was prepared with certificated human albumin products, mixed and filled under aseptic conditions. The standards were distributed to 11 laboratories for cooperative calibration according to the unified methods published on China Pharmacopeia. Seven test items including total protein content, sodium caprylate, polymers content, pH, absorbance, sodium content, and aluminium content were detected. RESULTS: The limits of the six test items except aluminium content were established as follows after the data from 11 collaboration laboratories were received and statistically analyzed: total protein(193.30 ± 5.08)g·L-1;sodium caprylate (0.162 4 ± 0.009 2) mmol· g(Pro)-1; polymers content (2.72 ± 0.29)% (HPLC-SEC);pH(6.71 ± 0.08) [temperature (22 ± 3)℃];absorbance 0.030 ± 0.005;sodium content (134.9 ± 23.6)mmol ·L-1. The range of initially established aluminium content was (88.4 ± 30.5)μg·L-1. However, it was observed to increase obviously after 21 months according to the trend analysis, so it was deleted from the test items for the national standard for human albumin ultimately. CONCLUSION: The prepared national standard for human albumin met the relevant requirements and may be served as the first generation of national standard for human albumin products.
